The Geralton Interpretive Centre is a visitor Centre and small museum located directly on the Trans-Canada Highway at Geralton, ON. We stopped here on the return leg of a cross country road trip and were very impressed with this attraction. We were expecting a regular visitor center and instead found an excellent small museum describing the history of the Fur Trade in the region and the mining activities that supported Geralton for years. It also features a small gift shop with a good selection of unique items, handcrafted by local artisans, which are for sale on a cash only basis. The staff were very helpful and provided additional historical which we appreciated. This is a “Must Do” stop if you are travelling Highway 11 near Geralton and is highly recommended.
