A beautiful little town with a great selection of bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, bakeries, etc. Everything you could ask for as well as a great town square, complete with music every night to suit all tastes, a boardwalk, boat rides and just a wonderfully friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

We are so blessed to have a high quality chocolatier in The Villages. They never add paraffin in their products and the tastes are so pure. Having had chocolates in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and from Switzerland, Peterbrooke can seriously rival them all. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in our decision making process (which was VERY hard, considering their awesome variety!) Diabetic? Go for their sugar free version. Our last visit found us with their dark chocolate covered graham crackers in our bag (among other choices). OMG!! Our dinner guests went crazy over the way those crackers paired SO PERFECTLY with the big chewy zinfandel we served with it. Haven't tried it? You should!

Wonderful meats, great deli, yummy bakery items and roast chicken salad to die for!! Speaking of the bakery---they make my new favorite dessert--strawberry pillows (I think that's what they are called)--croissant filled with fresh berries, creamy filling, sprinkled with powdered sugar and drizzled with chocolate. We went shopping specifically to get one for my birthday treat---better than cake--and they had none in the case!! The lady working there said give me about 10 minutes and she made one for me---complete with Happy Birthday picks on top!!! Fresh Market is just THE BEST!! I keep a bag of their cooked, deveined frozen shrimp and several of their ultimate crab cakes in the freezer for last minute visitors, etc.

Much enjoyed the air conditioned shop on a hot day. Located near the Brownwood Market Square, the shopping offers paintings, ocean shells, and so much more. The staff wore masks and require people in the store to also wear masks. The number of shoppers are limited to allow for social distancing. Worth visiting and then cross the street to enjoy the western Market Square theme.

This fun gift shop boutique located in Lake Sumter Landing has something for everyone! A little bit of everything...home decorations, baby clothing and children's toys, ladies fashions, jewelry and accessories, pet gifts, golfing gifts and so much more! It was fun browsing thru it all. I was very pleased to find the POCKET PLUS sold here!

Very friendly and helpful sales associates. I went in there looking for a pair of Sandals besides my trusty flip flops ( which are starting to destroy my feet). Finding sandal’s that fit and are comfortable for me is a tough job. I have a hammer toe which makes it difficult to find sandals that fit correctly. I must have tried on every Sandal in that store. Finally after an hour I found a pair of water shoes that worked, not the prettiest thing you’ve seen but they work. Very roomy in the toe part. Priced at ($89) reduced to ($59) As the girl was checking me out she was talking to another sales associate non stop and some how rang my water shoes up at ($40) I didn’t say a word. ???? I was very happy about that. I would recommended everyone and anyone to shop at Bass, when they have sales you can get a pair of well made shoes for a lot less.
