The Valley is the capital of the British territory of Anguilla, and part of the Antilles Islands. A favorite vacation spot of water lovers, Anguilla is a popular destination for wreck diving, snorkeling, or parasailing. The historic district of The Valley is full of old-style wood houses, including the Wallblake House, one of the only surviving plantation houses in the Caribbean. The ruins of the Old Prison are at the highest point in Anguilla, and provide stunning views of the bright blue sea.

Nature Explorers Anguilla (NEA) is the first ecotourism company on Anguilla providing wildlife tours to the island's wetlands. Formed in 2010, NEA provides an excellent opportunity for visitors and residents to experience the natural world of this island nation. Whether a bird watcher, photographer, or a little bit of both, Nature Explorers Anguilla helps clients investigate beyond the island’s glorious beaches, and observe the less travelled areas rich with incredible flora and fauna.

We spent about a week kiteboarding with Miguel and Yonny from Anguilla Watersports, and they were fantastic in every way. They would take us to different spots on the island to chase the wind, and were always a little flexible with their timing when they could be. We were a variety of levels, and they adjusted their instruction for our levels, working on everything from getting up and transitions to jumping. Plus, they would come and rescue us if one of us got into trouble! We did a downwinder on the last day and it was a ton of fun — felt nervous going a bit further from land, but they helped coach me through it and made sure no one got in trouble. Highly recommend going kiteboarding with these guys!!!

Joe and Celeste are professional, lovely, and talented. We spent an extended period in Anguilla during Covid. Once we were out of quarantine, we had weekly massages on our terrace. These were the most relaxing, restorative and therapeutic deep tissue massages we have ever had. I highly recommend La Severine.

A music bar recently opened by Bankie Banx, Anguilla's reggae star, to preserve the beautiful Rendezvous Bay dune on which it is built.
One of the reasons we stopped over in Anguilla was to see Banksie Banx, as my son loves music. We were fortunate enough to choose a night when Banksie was singing - and he was awesome. Playing guitar and harmonica, and singing his Island songs - what a great way to pass an evening with a cold beer. My son even ended up on stage playing Banksie’s guitar. The staff were great hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. There is a $20 cover charge if Banksie is playing live - well worth it. Would strongly recommend a visit.
