St. Gerard Roman Catholic Church

Was here for the second year in a row for Palm Sunday mass. Beautiful palm frond was handed out and was so awed by the entrance and entire mass. Such a comfortable, friendly and welcoming feel. Left feeling so inspired.

Wallblake House

Wallblake House, built in 1787, is the oldest and only surviving plantation house on Anguilla. It is one of the few plantation houses in the Caribbean where the entire complex of buildings including the kitchen, stable and workers quarters have survived virtually intact. The Wallblake House Trust is maintaining the complex so that it may thrive as a center for cultural, social and educational events for the entire island community.

Old Prison

The ruins of this historic jail on Anguilla's highest point -- 213 ft above sea level. The building itself is not spectacular in any way, but the views are.

7. Warden's Place

The Valley Anguilla

This former sugar-plantation great house was built in the 1790s and is a fine example of island stonework. It now houses a sumptuous bakery, Le Petit Patisserie. But for many years it served as the residence of the island's chief administrator, who also doubled as the only medical practitioner.
