We visited Liberty Science Center over President's Day weekend because it was on the way home from a visit with friends and because it would be free entry with our ASTC membership to another museum. Because of our membership, we have been to multiple science centers along the east coast and I expected to see the same exhibits you see everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised with Liberty Science Center! They had multiple floors with a variety of exhibits that held the kids' interests all day. And you can't beat those views! My son's favorite installation was the Dream Machine where he loved trying out the different sounds and listening to the cacophony. Of course, both kids loved the Infinity Climber and my daughter was proud of herself after conquering the Touch Tunnel. The new Lion Guard exhibit is cute, but very crowded, and clearly designed for the younger set. However, my kids enjoyed it nonetheless. I loved the Skyscraper exhibit - I found it very informative for adults and super fun for kids as they got to walk an I-beam! The best part, though were the experiments! In both the Microbes Rule! and Our Hudson Home, children can sign up to have a more individualized experience with science. They wear lab coats and with guidance from staff, recreate real-life experiments. It was a unique experience I haven't seen at other centers. Although we saw most of the areas, I can't wait to return in the warmer weather to take advantage of the outside animal challenge! Liberty Science Center is a must-see for families due to it's multiple engaging hands-on exhibits!

This review was written by 7 year old Mark who visited with his family. The best part of this museum is that there are thousands of little plane models to see. There is also a hot air balloon basket you can climb into. There is a video game flight simulator where you can see what it's like to steer a plane. I didn't do good with that but it was fun. Outside there are real life helicopters and ambulances. It's great for kids.

A contemporary art design and ceramics gallery that features artists that combine a maturity of vision with a fresh approach
I cannot speak highly enough about the personalized care and patience I received from Anne Novado of the eponymous Gallery. She was so careful with the handling of the artwork, wearing white gloves as she helped me to remove the shrink wrap from the 3 separate pieces of the triptych. I am an art director by trade: which means that I like to think that I have a good eye for detail. However it was Ms. Novado who immediately identified and pointed out the damage to the piece. As a direct result of Ms Novado’s input, I was able to have a percentage of the price refunded from the 3rd party vendor who shipped the art. For me this example is a great way to highlight the collaborative nature of working with Ms. Novado. Now keep in mind that I would typically go to my framer in Jersey City or. Chelsea, Manhattan. However I could not envision Simply framing this peace. The artwork needed to have the effect of floating a few inches from the wall. It needed to feel dynamic. As a result I required guidance and help with the installation. I was fortunate to have discovered this hidden gem of a gallery. The decision to have it professionally installed was 100% the right one. I highly recommend Anne Novado and her eponymous gallery, where the professionalism, helpful accommodation and kindness are always on display.
