Magnificent church at downtown Kingston. This is another must watch place if you are Kingston. Lovely architecture and a very quiet place to pray . We specially like to spend time in adoration at the St. James chapel right besides it.

Located just steps off of Princess street, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church is running free tours for the public. Starting on Thursday June 25th, and running until August 29th, the church will be open to the public for guided or self-guided tours. Daily hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church has been integral to the history of Kingston since its foundation stone was laid in 1820. Come and learn about St. Andrew's fascinating connections to Sir John A. MacDonald, Queens University, the Royal Military College and the Canadian Military. Enjoy the architecture and stained glass windows of the sanctuary. Donations are accepted on behalf of the Church.

Went for the church tour during the summer. Highly recommended it! The church is just beautiful and the tour hist Diane Berlet was very helpful. We picked up a copy of her book The Loyalist Tiles of St Alban's and enjoyed seeing the rare Loyalist Tiles contained within the church. Beautiful architecture. The Anglican Church has been deconsecrated and a not for profit organization Friends of St Alban's Adolphustown runs the summer tours. We wandered the Loyalist cemetery as well. A great Canadian historical spot!
