Thasos or Thassos (Greek: Θάσος) is a Greek island, geographically part of the North Aegean Sea, but administratively part of the Kavala regional unit. It is the northernmost Greek island, and 12th largest by area. Thasos is also the name of the largest town of the island (officially known as Limenas Thasou, "Port of Thasos"), situated at the northern side, opposite the mainland and about 10 kilometres (6 miles) from Keramoti. Thassos island is known from ancient times for its termae making it a climatic and balneoclimateric resort area.

Pachis, were Elia Beach Bar is located, has the best and most beautiful and clean beach on the west/north side of Thassos. We are coming back to Elia Beach Bar since 6 years (first as a couple, now with 2 small kids), because the owner is still the same guy and the atmosphere is relaxed. We love the beach and the good music.

Exposure is great, sun beds and umbrellas just by the sea, very fine sand, crystal clear water, plenty of bars just there to serve some cocktails...what else to ask for a perfect summer day?

This is a beach great for snorkeling. It was very clean. The kids enjoyed the clean smooth sand and us adults enjoyed the underwater life :D. We had our own sun beds and umbrellas so I can't say how much it costs to rent some. There's a restaurant upstairs and you can order drinks and food starting from 9:30. We usually arrived there at 8:30 and left at 10:30-11:00 because if the kids, so we never got to test the food. A minus: no toilet or changing room on the beach. However, it was one of the best beaches we visited (twice :D) in our 12 days stay in Thassos. It's a must see.

Except for the few rocks when you enter in the water, the beach is quite well taken care of. The sea is clear when it is calm and one can even do some snorkeling. The beach bars can offer a few things to temper your hunger, and a lot of drinks for one‘s thirst ;) Enjoy!

We've spent a few wonderful days in this amazing place. The sea is clean and clear throughout the day. On the other side of the hill is a beautiful view and caves in the sea that must be seen because the sight is unrepeatable. In the afternoon, the sea is pressed to create an impression of infinity. Any recommendation.

Psili Ammos Beach, near the settlement of Messaria on the island's northeast coast, features crystal-clear waters and golden sand dunes.
This year I have visited Thasos two times and visited almost every beach and even discovered some unknown, empty beaches. Definitely this beach is the best one if you are looking for an well-organised beach with good service. Staff was very friendly. There are two types of sunbeds & umbrellas. If you choose the better sunbeds you have to order drink or food which costs 20 euros and for the other sunbeds the price is 10 euros. Better go early in the morning, it is crowded

The water is very clear. The beach have fine sand. No stones in the water. You must be careful on the way up or down because the path is really bad. I saw last years it were sun beds and a beach bar but this year wasn't anything like this. Only 1 guy with some big delicious donuts 1.50 euro came here. :) You can walk over the cliffs through the Rosogokremos beach right near it.
