The Franklin Theatre opened in the summer of 1937 when the marquee first illuminated Main Street. The downtown historic landmark closed in 2007 but reopened as a 300 seat venue in 2011 with an investment of more than $8.5 million to again entertain, enrich, inspire and connect our community. It still features classic and recent release movies, community and private events - but most exciting are the live concerts by diverse original talents such as Sheryl Crow, Art Garfunkel, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Vince Gill, Keb Mo and many more. From blues to bluegrass, country to classical, rock to roots...you'll find an amazing roster of shows in one of the best listening rooms anywhere!
We visited for the awesome show of Lee Roy Parnell and Friends - including the beautiful Ms. Lisa Stewart and the incredible guitarists Seth James and Anson Funderburgh. These guys put on a helluva show. Lots of historic charm as Franklin theater was originally built in the 1930's, fell into disrepair in the 00's and eventually went through a big-budget renovation and restoration. Incredible sound and lighting system, comfortable seats and an overall great feel to the place. Loved the easy bar and concessions service. A great place to see a live show.

ALL MOVIES ARE NOW JUST $5 plus tax! The Forge Cinemas at Walden's Landing is a new 5 screen movie theater located in Walden's Landing at traffic light 2B in Pigeon Forge. It has stadium seating, 3D digital projection, and state-of-the-art sound. Visit our facebook page for showtimes.
I purchased our 4pm tickets online. $5 each. With tax and surcharge $22 for three adult tickets. Popcorn was good. Clean faculty. Chairs leaned back a bit. Plenty of seating so no worries about social distancing. The staff was fantastic as well. May go back and see another show while we’re here it the weather turns bad

The IMAX theatre is impressive with comfortable, semi-reclining seats. Make sure to sit a little higher up in the theatre as at the stair level or below is hard to see everything on screen! Would have LOVED to experience the 4DX theatre, maybe next time. It is a bit pricey at $18 per person

I love this place for watching movies! It's like stepping back into yiur childhood! The consession stand still gets busy so you can bring your own snacks and popcorn from home but the hamburgers are pretty good there. Shows teo current movies and you listen from your radio in the car. If come before dark, yu can play a little frisbee or toss the football around. I hope it never goes away!
