Tribal Terenife still shows influence from the aboriginal Gaunches people. Visitors clamber to conquer Mount Teide (Spain’s tallest peak) and to stretch out on the sands of Los Gigantes. Squawk hello to the playful parrots of Loro Park, or brave the petrifying drive to beautiful Masca Valley. For a true taste of Terenife, sample fresh farmhouse cheese and local bananas. A piece of delicate calado canario lace makes a special souvenir.

I love this place so much, already visited twice. I especially love the garden filled with fruit trees and seeing the old machines that were used for works with the tomatoes. It's a must see in Adeje, a little trip in history. The guide and the shop keeper are lovely; actually I went a little crazy in the souvenir shop.

Located on the main road between Playa Jardin and the old town. Used by the locals to watch the nearby football pitch. A circular stepped path to the top, however the walls at the top are not very high and therefore care needs to be taken with children or those with a lack of balance. The view from the top is worth the effort.
