Tbilisi (English: /təbɪˈliːsi, təˈbɪlɪsi/ tə-bih-LEE-see, tə-BIL-ih-see; Georgian: თბილისი [tʰbilisi] ( listen)), in some countries also still named by its pre-1936 international designation Tiflis (/ˈtɪflɪs/ TIF-liss), is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of approximately 1.5 million people. Founded in the 5th century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, since then Tbilisi served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Between 1801 and 1917, then part of the Russian Empire, Tbilisi was the seat of the Imperial Viceroy, governing both Southern and Northern Caucasus.

Excellent remote walking tour of the old city of Tbilisi with Bacho via internet. The technology worked well and Bacho has perfect English. Bacho is a friendly and very well informed guide. It was wonderful to get a taste of this beautiful and interesting looking city in the only way possible in current circumstances. Georgia is now very high on my list of countries to visit when circumstances allow and I will not hesitate to contact Bacho and Georgian holidays to help plan my trip. Highly recommended. Many thanks. Mike Davey England

Great experience and wonderful tour guide. We had a great time with this tour company; they are knowledge, polite, professional and provide a great comfort for the tour. The car was comfortable, clean and warm during winter time, when we visited. Our tour guide Arthur was full of information and we had an exceptional place for dinner because he was greatly informed of the areas and offerings. the sites were exquisite and it was so much better with a safe and professional driver. Thanks Land Of Noah team for the unforgettable experience.

It was the most pleasant and memorable solo tour I have ever experienced. Lasha is knowledgeable and a positive and energetic guide. He shared his info and passion regarding Georgia in a pleasant manner. The program was tailormade to my taste. Lasha and Ioane were great company. Lasha's grandparents hosted us for lunch in a typical Georgian way. What an honour to have met them. I will highly recommend Lasha's company to any visitor of Georgia!

Omg! I cannot even start describing how memorable Karlo made this entire experience for me and my sister who recently took a trip with him. He curated the trip in a short time exactly how we had imagined. We hiked in the rain which was so worth it, we visited his village which was so beautiful, met some lovely locals, tasted fabulous wine, horseback riding across nature and basically had a great time. Karlo understood us and delivered his best. I have been to Georgia before but I have never had such a different and worthwhile experience. I am glad we chose Karlo and we will soon come back for more adventure.

Teimiraz was the BEST guide and Melvud was an excellent driver. We didn’t have to worry about anything. From picking up and taking to the airport, to dinner recommendations and reservations, everything was managed so well! We loved our trip and can’t wait to return! I highly recommend this company!!
