Craft/jewellery shop. Unique and made by order pieces.
We visited this cute little shop during our visit to the lovely town of Tavira, just prior to the Coronavirus pandemic. (We are now back in Canada, and send our best wishes to the Portuguese people, for staying safe, and good health for better days ahead.) The owner/artist was busily crafting fun and funky pieces of unique jewelry, and greeted us with a friendly smile. She works with various metals, to create organic shapes and clever overlapping ways to wear the necklaces. Prices were quite reasonable; these pieces make great gifts for the girl who's hard to buy for, or an easy-to-pack gift for yourself. I hope to return to the Algarve next winter, and would love to return to this artist's shop.

A visit to Blossom is a must for any visitor to Tavira. Ron has captured some fantastic views from across the Algarve, and is always happy to have a chat and eager to share his knowledge. We recently purchased one of Ron's landscape shots, printed on ChromaLuxe (high-gloss on aluminium) and couldn't be happier. Great to have a piece of the Algarve in our home! We couldn't recommend Blossom highly enough.

Open from Monday - Saturday from 7am to 1pm the Tavira Municipal market is a great place to encounter locals selling local products. I’ve been making a trip there each morning so we have the freshest ingredients for dinner in the evening. The vendors are great fun to talk with and very helpful.
