The lush parks and golden beaches of Tauranga make it a popular destination for outdoorsy folks and watersports lovers. Here on New Zealand’s North Island, you’ll find a variety of opportunities for surfing, white water rafting, kiteboarding, hiking and golfing. Take a refreshing dip in the swimming holes by Kaiate Falls, which cascade beautifully over the bluffs. Families might like to visit one of Tauranga’s amusement park, take a guided nature tour or swim with dolphins in the Bay of Plenty.

Tauranga Crossing is The Bay of Plenty's newest shopping centre with over 100+ stores to taste and explore, including H&M, Farmers, PAK'nSAVE, The Warehouse and EVENT Cinemas. The Observatory, which includes 5 eateries, Rcade and EVENT Cinemas is open until 10pm daily.
The new mall is bright and airy and has a vibrant atmosphere. There is a great mix of shops to meet all your needs and wants. The new cinema complex is world class and has a real popcorn machine, which seems to gone from other theatres. The dining options cover all bases and include some new, fresh alternatives to the usual uninspired food courts of most malls. The dramatic architecture of dining wing is refreshing and overlooks a sunny outdoor space with a patio and play area. Best of all: Heaps of free parking!

Hubby & I enjoy our weekly treat of movies & icecream! This cinema is amazing - prompt & professional service, spotlessly clean & tidy and great screen sizes & super-comfy seats. Our favourites are the couches @ $25 pp. LOVE this place!! :))
