Escape games are interactive and immersive entertainment experiences. You'll have 60 minutes to put your noggins to the test as you go through a series of puzzles & clues using your logic and intuition in an attempt to unveil secrets, crack hidden codes, open locks, & ultimately make your escape before the clock runs out. We take your preconceived notions of how things are & flip them Upside Down!
I've played 80 escape rooms at this point, and it's rare for me to really feel immersed in an environment, let alone have 30 years shaved off my live (in a good way). I haven't played their new theater room yet (soon!), but their 90's video arcade room brought me back to the time of Game Boys, slap bracelets, and Trapper Keepers. The set is extremely hands on, with on-point theming...I mean, playing video games while you're IN a live action game...what could be better?? My favorite moment? There's one part that REALLY brought me back. You have to do something that we've all seen that one snot-nosed, screaming brat do back in the day: climbing on the ******** to put a **** in the **** to get extra ******* because bad parenting. I'm sure my face lit up when now I got to do it! Also, the owners Sheryl and Taylor, are some of the most passionate designers around and draw inspiration from games around the world, which is refreshing to see. I believe they were recently in Greece and played some next-level rooms over there...hopefully some of that inspiration will find it's way into their future rooms! Anyway, tons of fun, highly recommended!

In short: If you aren't a fan of Japanese arcade/rhythm games, then you will enjoy the Bowling, Pool/Billiards, and Karaoke. If you DO like rhythm games, read on. This is one of the only places in New England, maybe even the entire Eastern U.S., which offers this many quality Japanese Rhythm games and arcade games in 1 place. What's more, since Round 1 is a Japanese company, they are able to provide these games along with their online components, using a NFC card like Konami E-Amusement, Aime, or Nesica to login and track your progress in games and to save your rewards and game settings, and you can also participate in the online events for each game. This is HUGE, because even if you play these games at an anime convention or at Game Underground, you're never able to login to the online component there. I'll try to remember all the main games I saw there, they have the latest versions of all these: *DDR *Pump it Up *Dance Rush *Beatmania IIDX *Jubeat *Nostalgia *Musica *Hatsune Miku Project Diva *Pop'n'Music *Groove Coaster *Sound Voltex *They might have Mai Mai by now *15 different fighting games like Tekken and Street Fighter IV and maybe Gundam, I didn't try any of these so I don't know I'm sure there were others but you get the idea. All with online play connecting to the JP servers. There were also a TON of prize-claw games, but those games weren't ever worth trying to win any prizes anyway, although it's there if you want to try. Really awesome place for any weeb, rhythm game enthusiast, or for person who never got a chance to play any of these due to regional limitations. I studied a semester in Japan and got to play all these games all the time, so I was thrilled to find out this place existed back in the US. It's about $1.25-1.50 per 3-song game, depending on how many credits you load your card up with. Can't recommend enough, worth going to even if you have to drive several hours.
