We've been here in winter and the landscape is breathtaking: inferior lake in 80% iced, mountains are full of snow, amazing!!! An advice: you need winter shoes with spikes...in the woods there are a must!

Here you will find a 16th century old church surrounded by beautiful mountains all around! You will find cute souvenir shops and a restaurant overlooking the mountains, where you can enjoy a drink or a meal. The views are so breathtaking!

We were on holiday in Kranjska Gora for the New Year 2018. On 27th December we decided to cross over to nearby Italy and visit the well known leather market of Tarvisio. It was a rainy day and the market served also as a shelter from the bad weather. There’s only one keyword here: bargain! Never accept the first price they indicate. Sometimes they go down even up to 60 and 70%. We bought just two items, as at the moment we weren’t in a real need of something in particular. We bought a nice leather wallet for my wife’s father from Kukiscki Maria-Grazia & Marte at Box 78 and a good quality bedroom slippers for me from Enzo Stellatio at Box 97. Nice and helpful persons on both occasions! We also had some time to sip two hot chocolates at La Delizia di Carratu’ Lucia.
