I know that most ski resorts rent their own ski gear, but we have been using adventure ski shop for years. Fantastic service, great equipment, fully customized. You can’t beat it. Go see Moises (owner). You will not regret it.

Ray was awesome he helped fit me for ski boots and offered other suggestions when I couldn't find what I needed although thye He was personable, knowledgeable and overall great person. If your headed to Taos and need to rent or get some gear, please stop here. The staff is amazing.

We booked our rentals online and just needed to pick them up when we got to town. They had our skis/snowboards fitted and ready for us to try on to make sure they properly fit. Everyone was super friendly! We had family meet us there to try and find some gloves/boots for their little ones, the lady working searched high and low to find things that would fit an 18 month old while also entertaining the restless 3 year old! Very impressed with the customer service we received while there. Additionally, I had a 2 day rental and my husband had a 3 day rental, they made sure we meant a different amount (I ended up needed a 3 day because day two the mountain was closed) they comped my extra day when I returned late! We will definitely be customers for life!

Best place to rent ski equipment! We have rented from Alpine Xtreme for years and wouldn’t consider renting anywhere else. Everyone in the shop is super knowledgeable about their gear/equipment and it’s always in excellent shape. Ask for Ryan or Jack and they will hook you up!!

Bootdoctor is the place to get the best fitting ski boots. And Margie is the best fitter they have. She asks insightful questions, takes many measurements and really listens to your skier type and what you like to ski. The result was a perfect fitting pair of boots that really made my year. Amazing personalised service from Ryan and Alex - for both boarding and skiing rentals. I was sad I couldn’t take my own equipment but ended up with brand new ski boots and perfect skis and bindings.
