Tangalle (Sinhala තංගල්ල [ˈtaŋɡalːə], Tamil: தங்கல்லை) (also known as Tangalla) is a large town in Hambantota District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. It is one of the largest towns in southern province. It is located 195 km (121 mi) south of Colombo and 35 km (22 mi) east of Matara. It has a mild climate, in comparison to the rest of the district, and sandy beaches.

I first got in touch with Green Lanka Vacations back in 2009, having heard about Kalum and his services through trip advisor. I was booking a trip for my mum and I to visit Sri Lanka, and we were looking for a chauffeur/tourguide. A hugely personalised service, with traveller enjoyment as number one priority, I cannot recommend Green Lanka Vacations highly enough. Sujith is such a good hearted guy. I know him from last year when he was my tuktuk driver around Tangalle and this year again he drove me to some places. I feel so safe in his tuktuk and he is very friendly and relaxed. Best driver I ever had on my travels! :)

We reserved a day to go from Dikwella to Bentota and back. The communication with Sulan was smooth. He arrived in time. The drive was careful and comfortable. Sulan very kindly adapted us changing our mind. The whole trip was very satisfactory.

Deron got us all outfitted to kayak the Rekawa Lagoon. Beautiful place and a wonderful host who had a couple refreshing coconuts waiting for us on our return! He even had some spare time and took us to a very special local beach spot. Amazing time spent here. Thanks Deron and all the best with the new business!

In October 2019 we spent ten days in Sri Lanka with Danu, one of supuns drivers. We had some very special days and also many insights into the Sri Lankan culture. It was very easy to plan the trip together with supun. We just wrote a mail to supun and got a proposal with many different possibilities to do during our trip through Sri Lanka. Also they were very flexible with the tour planning, both in advance and during the trip. With Danu we had the chance to visit many local places, not only the tourist ones. This was very nice! We always had best dinner/lunch places (local ones). As we were very flexible on the tour, we could stay longer or shorter on the different sights. Price-Performance Ratio is very fair, i would always recommend Supun and Danu to all my friends. Over all: We had a very nice trip in Sri Lanka. We met very nice people and it was a very familiar time together with Danu. Thank you for the nice time Maya&Hannes

We chose Sri Lanka to spend our vacation and it was indeed a good choice thanks to Lashan. He was very friendly and took us to all the places we wanted to travel. Our tour started with the pick up from our hotel at Galle fort. Roshan was so friendly and extremely informative. Had a wonderful day with new friends, enjoying the scenery and hiking the Rainforest. This should be in everyone's list when visiting Sri Lanka. Loved the added bonus of Tea factory visit. Guide Wigitha made the day amazing. Although no rain in the rainforest ,this day made the hike a bit less slippery, the flora, fauna and the waterfall -- all made a lovely day. One of our Dreams was to swim under the waterfall, and we got a chance to do it here. Transportation was comfortable and efficient, and the lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour and also this tour company.

Consequently, it's a far less zoo-like experience and it never feels too crowded here, even during high season. Yes, the density of animals is lower, but it’s not rare to spot a leopard, along with elephants, crocodiles, turtles, white cobras, wild buffalo and tons of birds. About a dozen bears live in the park, but they’re rarely seen.the vibrancy that’s a sharp contrast to the museum-like ambiance at Polonnaruwa.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely polite and friendly and I just want to say that, in addition to awesome food, we had a delightful waiter, “Dhanushka”. He had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. He recognized that we wanted time to visit and made certain that we had everything we needed.
