Sydney offers plenty of historical and contemporary Australian flavor. The marvelous Sydney Opera House looks like a great origami sailboat, floating peacefully in a harbor. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets of The Rocks and then take in a street performance on the Circular Quay before heading into the Museum of Contemporary Art. The views from the Sydney Tower Eye observatory are epic – use this chance to get to know the layout of the city from high above.

Good beer is not a dictionary definition, it is whatever it means to you. Drink smooth. Drink hoppy. Drink easy, bitter sour or rich. Insist on your taste. Because it’s right. You have a thirst; we're here to quench it. So, speak up for your taste buds, whether you love lager, sip stouts or have a penchant for pales; everyone deserves to drink good beer. All for beer, beer for all.
Went here to sample some of their ales and they were very good as were the staff and the place itself

Australia's first and largest co-operative brewery comprising hundreds of members who work together in various capacities to become part owners in a brewery and taproom. Some members will simply come round to the taproom while others may be more engaged joining a committee or the board of the directors. What's better than attending a brewery is attending one that you own. We now have a taproom sharing beers we brew elsewhere and a myriad other beers representing many styles. At present we are working towards building our own brewery so that we can be representative of the beer scene in Sydney and the rest of Australia. Anyone in NSW of legal drinking age (18 years old) can become a member too ;D

I am a local, so not sure if I should be commenting on Trip Advisor, but I think both of the Batches are highlights, not only of the neighborhood but of Sydney in general. The beer is absolutely delicious and so far from the mass produced rubbish we put up with for so long in Australia that it is crazy. if you are fortunate to be there when MacBatch is on tap, just drink it. It is amazing, but make sure you aren't driving. However, on top of the amazing beer I would strongly recommend you hunt out Cree the Beer Whisperer. Not only is Cree just an amazing and interesting human being (talk to her about her ceramics business it is fascinating) she knows all of the beers inside out and has a seemingly preternatural ability to know what beer you will love. And I don't just mean like, you will love her recommendations. My favorite moment is when I walk in to get some take away, place my order, only to have Cree say "Nope, you are getting this", because I know that I am about to try a beer that I would never have tried but I am going to love. She has never missed. Cree has introduced me to beers such as Chocolate Raspberry stout, Choc Orange Porter - I hate fruit beer but they were gorgeous, Chapeau and Bock and that is just in the last couple of months. So I strongly recommend both Batches, but enhance your experience and find Cree for her recommendations and don't forget to tip her!!!!

Our award-winning Inner-West brewery pays homage to classic beer styles while creating all-natural beers with a distinctly Wayward twist. Our passionate brewing team is not afraid to go off the beaten track hope that, in doing so, we create something that encourages you to 'take the beer less travelled'. The Brewery's Cellar Bar Taproom is a craft beer oasis, hidden down a Camperdown laneway and housed within the bones of an old winery. The 12-tap bar is a meeting place for enjoying conversation and armchair adventure while sharing great craft beer with friends.
Great friendly atmosphere and very dog friendly. Wayward beer is excellent and they also have rotating guest beers and food trucks. Hard to fault. Love the place.

Craft beer microbrewery with onsite taproom for tastings and takeaways. In the heart of Sydney's Inner West - craft beer mecca.
A large and vast selection of beers on tap, friendly chatty staff, and tasting paddles are great if you're unsure of what to try. Probably has the best beer garden of all the Marrickville breweries, especially on a sunny day, although they have awnings up for when it rains. In my opinion, they have probably the best tasting IPAs in the area as well. Check out the Facebook page to see which food trucks are on site throughout the week, however you can pick up a few hot pies and cold pastries from Bourke Street Bakery as you're walking in and eat them inside.

The Barber Shop Bar promotes an incredible 700 different gins from around the world. Something here for everyone. In the UK gin is normally supplied in a 50 ml measure. My only complaint with this bar is they pour a 30 ml shot. At a three to one ratio you end up with a smaller drink. Other than that well worth a visit.

The hours here are somewhat limited, so we timed our visit. It didn’t disappoint. I love wild beer, and the flavour profile of Wildflower is so different to many other craft breweries. Intimate cellar room and friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return.
