What to do and see in Sydney, New South Wales: The Best Beer Tastings & Tours

January 25, 2022 Jacquiline Delozier

Sydney offers plenty of historical and contemporary Australian flavor. The marvelous Sydney Opera House looks like a great origami sailboat, floating peacefully in a harbor. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets of The Rocks and then take in a street performance on the Circular Quay before heading into the Museum of Contemporary Art. The views from the Sydney Tower Eye observatory are epic – use this chance to get to know the layout of the city from high above.

A nice mix of information throughout the tour on history of The Rocks, the pubs & beer. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. A fun way to meet some nice people & share a night out if travelling solo.

We loved the knowledge that Robyn had about the area and the water bottles offered are great idea . Perhaps knowing that I would have to cut some of the tastings to share proper knife and plate would have been helpful understandable COVID times ,not sure what could have been sorted ....? We also felt seeing we are Australian and the only people on the tour perhaps vegemite toast wasn’t the the best idea , but I understand for I international tourists would love it ... We were asked about allergies and unfortunately she had forgotten so my husband missed out on the Thai prawns . If I knew we were going to wait I would have ordered a wine whilst waiting in some situations .
