Swanwick Lakes

Reviewed By CHayden19 - Swanwick, United Kingdom

We went on a dog walk around the lakes, not so easy to find if you don’t know how to get there. Aim for NATS Swanwick, and turn right at the mini roundabout just before the gatehouse, this will take you down a small windy road to get to the car park. Lots of sensory things to do with kids there too. I would recommend keeping kids and dogs close as the lakes could easily be fallen into if they slipped. They recommend that dogs be kept on leads if they are likely to jump in the lake as it is a nature reserve. Very peaceful, I’ve never seen more than 2 people there! (Although we do go during the winter more). Can take anywhere from 15-1.5 hours to walk around, depending on what route you take - lots of sign posts to help you choose where to go, or just follow any path! Very well maintained and is beautiful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a bit of quiet time or a mindful walk.
