Zia Park offers group and private trail rides every day of the week. We have a large property where visitors are likely to see wild kangaroos and other wildlife on the ride. All rides are escorted by experienced staff, children and adults are catered for as well as beginner or experienced riders. Our horses are chosen for their temperaments and are very well cared for. We also offer riding lessons to riders of all levels.
I just visited the equestrian park this afternoon with my friends. We all are adult beginner riders, and for me personally, it has been several years since I ride a horse for leisure. Zia Park Centre staff has been very accommodating and informative since the beginning. They explained in detail in the emails about things we need to prepare and how to reach the place via GPS. We arrived about the right time to prepare for the equipment and papers. And then finally we met our horses. They were so handsome and beautiful, well taken care of, and they felt safe to us. We rode for about one hour around the 140-ish hectares land. Watching the birds and wallabies wandering through the eucalyptus trees. The group leader was very friendly and careful, we felt really safe with her. After the ride finished, we took a group picture and returned back the equipment. The other staff were caring for the horses immediately. Overall it was a really good experience, will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and safe horse riding experience. Thank you so much for providing the adult beginner horse riding group! :)

Explore the history of our town - on foot. Established on what is virtually an island encircled by the Swan and Helena Rivers, Guildford is ideally suited to exploration on foot. To assist you in discovering the numerous fascinating historic buildings, lively characters and wonderful stories of this 'island village' three new heritage walk trails (with 35 interpretive panels) have been built. Each trail starts and finishes at the Old Guildford Courthouse (Visitor Centre).

Stayed here for 3 nights recently for a wedding. We had a family room, which had 2 large double bed. The room was a good size and clean. We paid for breakfast separately as this wasn’t included in the price. Loads of choice for breakfast both hot and cold. Hotel was clean, nice fresh towels (everyday if you wanted them) Not much to do around the hotel, but loads inside. The pool is great, mini-golf and a golf course. Restaurant is reasonably priced and enough of them around the pool, near the golf course and within the hotel. I would like to mention one of the staff members -Edmond. What an amazing guy!! We were part of a wedding. Edmund made sure we always had drinks, very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us all-he was even at breakfast the morning after the wedding! Don’t be surprised if you look out of your window in the morning and see a Kangaroo right outside !

If you want a choice of a short trail (1.3km) or longer one (3.2km) and one with great views, gum trees and sounds of bubbling brook, this is it! There's even a picnic spot with benches next to the car park, overseeing the water. But, don't expect to see many wildflowers. Still, there were marri, jarrah, sheoak and a variety of bush to admire, and the private properties next to the trails were pleasant to look at. We came in early spring.
