Sydney offers plenty of historical and contemporary Australian flavor. The marvelous Sydney Opera House looks like a great origami sailboat, floating peacefully in a harbor. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets of The Rocks and then take in a street performance on the Circular Quay before heading into the Museum of Contemporary Art. The views from the Sydney Tower Eye observatory are epic – use this chance to get to know the layout of the city from high above.

Four Pillars Laboratory in Sydney's Surry Hills is our new home for creative, delicious and downright awesome gin drinks and gin-fuelled fun. On one side of our Laboratory is the Gin Lab, a place to taste, talk, buy and even make gin. On the other side is Eileen’s Bar, named after our resident gin still. Pull up a stool and try a cocktail that explores the flavour possibilities of our award-winning family of gins.

We happened upon this charming Irish pub while searching for oyster restaurants near our hotel. We entered a virtually unmarked entrance door to a resounding “Heyyyy!” Reminiscent of “Norm!” From Cheers. Cool tunes, excellent selection of drinks, delicious fresh oysters! There are only four items on their food menu, and every one of them is delicious perfection. Lamb Sausage roll or vegetarian sausage roll, plougher board (a medley delicious jams, meats, cheeses, and the freshest best sourdough I’ve ever tasted, and charged corn on the cob. And oysters!! Freshly shucked and garnished with a delicious mignonette. Drinks are unique and delicious. Try the seaside martini, served with a couple of oysters and a shot of scotch whiskey. I also make a mean old-fashioned. Don’t miss out on this special local hangout.

5 of us visiting Sydney just happened to come by the Porterhouse so we decided to give it a try. We certainly made the right decision. Helpful staff, great athmosphere, quality food and most of all good value. If you like fish, try the seafood platter, the steaks are sumptious. A must visit. Returning today for our evening meal. You cant beat the Irish .

Great classic corner pub vibe with friendly staff who are generally fairly knowledgeable about the good selection of beers. Add to that the ability to buy yummy dumplings to go with gret beer & it is a wonderful experience.

The rooftop restaurant opens from midday to 3pm for lunch and they run daily specials for $12. The rump steak was so tender and melted in our mouth. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of room to spread out.
