A range of deep sea fishing charter trips are provided for any level of angler to the surrounding waters from Caloundra to Noosa. Fishing methods include offshore deep sea bottom fishing, soft plastic fishing, trolling, live bait fishing, drift fishing and float lining. If there is any surface activity around they troll the lures resulting in hook ups of large Dolphin fish, Mackeral, Wahoo, Marlin and Sailfish. The lures are set then the rod is handed to you so be ready for some reel screaming action! The crew will be right behind you offering encouragement and ready to safely land your fish. Top Catch Charters have Spanner Crab trap set and retrieval equipment on board droping the traps on the way out to the fishing destination then retrieve them on the way home. Customers are invited to help remove, and sort through the crabs. Everyone finds this an interesting experience and even the timid want to get involved. After checking for size limits they are cooked on board the boat then the crew demonstrate how to shell them. The crabs are then bagged up along with your fish to take home!
