Had a lovely relaxing afternoon at the studio in August with my 6 year old and newborn son. We enjoyed it so much we’ve now done a couple of the takeaway kits at home too which we love doing. Something a bit different for us to do together with the added bonus of having a keepsake at the end of it. Really good value when visiting the studio or when completing at home and the kits include everything you’d need. Highly recommended ????

We have done two of the three rooms as a family of 4. The Vault and Alice in Wonderland were really well thought out and lots of fun. Staff were pleasant and explained things well. Not in a highly accessible area especially for those not familiar with the area but please, please, please do not let this put you off. It really deserves to be more well known about because it is one of the best we've end. Alice in Wonderland is one of my favourite childhood books so this room in particular was wonderful!

Interesting history of glass and fascinating exhibition in gallery. We were staying in Newcastle and travelled by metro to Sunderland. When walking back to Metro station we passed St Peter's church which is Saxon. We went in and were treated to a guided tour. Fascinating. We then walked past The Museum and decided to call in. Found it was a football museum. Again were treated to a guided tour. It is well worth a visit.
