Myself, my friend and my two adult children were visiting Georgia from Texas for a concert, and we had a night we weren't sure what we were going to do with. My friend did a "things to do" search, and Axe Masters came up. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill kind of Friday night activity, so we figured, why not? We had SO much fun! The staff was friendly and helpful, very interactive, kept giving us pointers, and even threw with us when one of my kids had to quit. Also, the safety measures in place satisfied this ER nurse. :) I'm hoping I can find our pics on their Facebook page, because they were hilarious! We would definitely come here again if we once again found ourselves in Georgia, and had so much fun that we will be looking for a similar place in Texas! Thanks y'all!

My wife and I decided to go to Spin Art Atlanta for a spontaneous afternoon date. Thanks to COVID, a lot of what we used to do for a fun outing isn't as accessible as it used to be so I started searching for things to do in Sugar Hill. That's when I found Spin Art Atlanta. Neither my wife nor I am particularly artistic, but spin art actually allows you to make something pretty cool regardless. We were given coveralls to keep us from getting splattered with paint, and we were given brief instructions on how to use the equipment. We opted to pay for the extra three colors, but we would have been fine just using the red, green, blue, yellow, black and white that are standard. There's a video playing on a large TV in the painting area. It's worth spending the first few minutes of your hour of time watching to get some tips and pointers. Our instructor didn't mention that, though he did explain how everything worked. I just thought the video gave more examples. Social distancing was not a problem. We were all wearing masks, but each individual is in a separate stall so you have close to six feet of separation without even trying. One great piece of advice is not to let the clock rule you. If you finish your artwork in five minutes, that's fine. If you want to take the full hour that's fine, too. I got mine to where I liked it, but kept going because I had more time and, in doing so, sort of messed part of it up. Fortunately, it's abstract art, so I can paint over the goof and make it different. In the end, I was very satisfied, but would have been satisfied stopping earlier, too. They say to allow 24 hours for the artwork to dry fully, so when we were finished painting, they let us leave our artwork there overnight. You're welcome to take it with you immediately, but we preferred to come back the following day so as to avoid smudging it or getting paint all over the back of our car. We had a great time and have the art to prove it!
