Delightful Playing field with many sporting and play facilities including outdoor table tennis table, slam dunk area, children s play area and outdoor gym equipment
Kingston field is a lovely place to walk the dog along the harbour and grassy field. There is a big café which serves cakes, coffees, fizzy drinks and more. There is a lot of play equipment and I like to meet friends here to talk and relax.

This place is free and perfect for a picnic or just laying on a blanket and reading. There is a playground that features an obstacle course and a smaller area for youngsters. There are public restrooms, a free car park, picnic tables and multiple trails. The trails weave through the forest and also follow the old railroad line. There is a river where you step your feet in but be very careful as we did spot broken glass on the ground.

We recently came to the viking and Anglosaxon event 12-8pm and it was amazing. The day was full of exciting events and had lots of hands on activities for the public to engage with. It had something for all ages young to old and also had a warm inside entertainment area to get out the cold for a while. Only comment was how expensive the food and drink was but that’s expected at an event like this I guess Would defo recommend and go again for sure
Community Centre with children play area attached which is open to the public all the time.
