We have a small farm with about 50 alpacas.Walk with alpacas through beautiful countryside and walk around the farm and meet the babies and possibly bottle-feed a baby alpaca.Learn about the fleece and even walk your alpaca around an obstacle course with rosettes for everyone. Fun for all the family with this small family run herd we look forward to meeting you

Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is in the middle of the beautiful county of Suffolk in Eastern England and is a small livestock farm breeding farm animals that were once common but are now very rare. It's a great time to bring your whole family to the farm to meet the pigs, feed the goats and let the kids loose in the play area whilst you settle into the calm surroundings with a piece of homemade cake or a cream tea.
Me and my 5 year old son recently visited the Farm. My son loves it here so many lovely animals and such a lovely well looked after Farm. It always looks so lovely and clean especially since its reopened the safety measures in place are brilliant and we felt very safe. Its lovely walking round the footpaths around the field seeing all the animals and there's a lovely picnic area to have lunch in as well. Great value for money and a free bag of animal food as well! Great day out! We will be back!

Come and join our gentle giant Suffolk Punch Heavy Horses for a fun family day out. Visit pets corner, meet our Suffolk lambs, see the horses being trained, explore the 120 acre farm. A beautiful drive through sandy forest, south-east from Woodbridge. Leave A12 Woodbridge bypass on A1152 to Melton and Hollesley. Cross traffic lights, level crossing and river bridge, bearing right at the mini roundabout. Pass Sutton Hoo on right and take next turning left. Cross an area of heathland, continuing for three miles and shortly after entering a wooded area bear left - signposted Butley, Boyton and Hollesley Bay Colony. At the crossroads with a water tower continue straight on into Woodbridge Walk and the entrance to the Suffolk Punch Trust is shortly on your right.
I'm writing a book that builds on the work of the late George Ewart Evans, so visited to see Suffolk Punch horses and I hoped some of the implements they powered. The museum delivered more than I could have hoped for. I left with a strong sense of why the Suffolk was a land, rather than a road horse, and was able to closely examine a Smythe drill, mowers, tedders and other horse drawn machinery. Best of all, as I took my wife with me, the guided tour of the paddocks made the visit interesting for anyone. The cafe also serves great coffee & cake!

Housed in a converted 400 year old barn, the Leaping Hare restaurant, has been in the Good Food Guide for 20 consecutive years, as well as being a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide. We serve a blend of modern and traditional European dishes, made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Wyken Cafe boasts the same quality of food and service as our restaurant and serves breakfasts and lunches daily. Offering a slightly lighter option, it can provide the perfect accompaniment to a walk around our gardens.
Despite the overcast, damp day and lockdown #2, Wyken brought a ray of sunshine to our Saturday! The Farmers Market presented a wide variety of good quality stalls, with welcoming, chatty vendors, happy to discuss their produce. After a steaming hot much needed coffee, we pre-ordered our lunch, to look forward to after our walk. We navigated a 5km loop (advertised on their website) mostly on rural footpaths, taking an hour and a quarter. My delicious rich Lamb Tagine with giant cous cous, mint yoghurt and paprika toasted almonds hit the spot perfectly as did my husband’s Suffolk Salami wood fired sourdough pizza. We chose to eat in the warmth of our camper van, although there is an open sided barn with chairs and tables on offer. We must congratulate Wyken on their precautionary Covid measures, they have adapted marvellously to the current difficult times. We certainly look forward to returning once the Leaping Hare Restaurant and Shop are permitted to open!

Came here 3 weeks ago with my partner and our two youngest (17 and 11) and had a great day. Was much better than I had expected and we spent 4 enjoyable hours here (could have spent more but we needed to get on our way). All the animals seem well looked after and the staff/keepers are all very knowledgeable. There was plenty to see and do (from the miniature train ride, to the camel talks – where you can find out all about the camels, ask questions and have your photo taken – to the hands on petting area where you can hold rabbits and guinea pigs to just watching the birds or the comical meerkats or stroking the camels and llamas) Make sure you buy some animal food as we really enjoyed feeding all the animals – but especially the lemurs who were so gentle as they took each piece of food from us. We also enjoyed the crazy golf and our youngest enjoyed the pedal cars. We paid extra for a camel ride for our youngest (think it was £9) but the highlight was the llama walk (think this was £7 for 40 minutes) – this was amazing, what lovely creatures llamas are – our son really enjoyed walking the llama around the park and we also enjoyed it (and got some excellent photos). This is a great place for adults and kids. Entrance for the 4 of us was £33 (as they had a voucher on their website for a £1 off each person) and was well worth it (even paying the extra for the camel ride and the llama walk were well worth the cost)

Fresh is best, and you can buy everything we produce at Hollow Trees in our fantastic Farm Shop. Have an adventure on the Hollow Trees Farm Trail where there are surprises around every corner! From the field to our kitchens, enjoy your breakfast, lunch and tea the Hollow Trees way. We spend years carefully nurturing our plants so that they look their best for your garden.
Well thought out farm trail with Covid prevention very much in mind. Book online in advance to get a time slot. Plenty of animals for young children to see and feed (animal feed 50p per small bag). Plus wooden play areas, an old tractor to climb on and picnic area. Also great Farm Shop and food takeaway. Well worth a visit.

This is a children's open farm which has been operating for over 30 years - a great place for children to interact with animals.
We visited the farm with two children age 7 and four months , What a lovely fun filled day ( the weather helped, the park has indoor facilities as well as our door ). Parking and access were easy, there are a lot of concrete areas but even off these it was easy to push and access with a buggy. There is a large outdoor play area plus an indoor one, which pleased the seven year old , lots of activities like hold a rabbit, meet an animal, tractor trailer rides, trails to look at farm animals, etc. The staff were all friendly and willing to tell the children about what a Black smith does , what a baby pig is called etc. There are baby changing facilities , plenty of hand washing areas you can buy food but also take your own picnic. There was plenty to do , no shouts of boredom, I think it was value for money as we spent the whole day there, not overly priced like many places, plus a fun learning experience. We will definately visit again.

There is a good variety of drinks and food including a big choice of freshly made cakes to choose from. I will definitely be going back again.

Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park is fun for all the family, with something for everyone! Working farm, wildlife park, restaurant, tea rooms, wedding venue, events, education hub, birthday party location, farm shop, butchery, shops, corporate events!
Went here with our grandchildren this weekend. It’s grown so much since we last went with our own children when Jimmy had first opened. What a difference.....It’s Huge! It’s beautifully clean, the animals you can tell are well looked after which is so important to us. There’s a few small play areas which are well maintained. The woodland walk was great fun, finding animals in the woods...Lions & Tigers & Bears Oh My!!! Some animals you can feed & the goats certainly liked a little fuss. At present the restaurant itself isn’t open for food due to COVID-19 however you can order hot/cold snacks from the hut outside & eat it in the warm! Much appreciated this time of year. Food & Drinks reasonably prices and plenty of it. Thanks to ALL at Jimmy’s Farm. We Loved It & So Will You!!! We’ve booked again for next week & brought Gift Vouchers for Christmas Gifts.
