The gallery is light and airy and has a fabulous collection displaying contemporary artists covering both paintings, ceramics, jewellery and sculpture. You could see the owners not only worked hard but also enjoyed giving a lucky public the opportunity to see a very good selection of work with a nice variety of prices.

Welcome to Beyond the Image Photographers' Gallery. This is a unique place of opportunity in the heart of Suffolk. Established in 2005, the gallery is a not-for-profit organisation run by a group of like-minded photographers who exhibit their own work through quarterly themed Photographic exhibitions. The gallery space also allows the group to give something back to the community in the form of guest exhibitions, by hosting guest exhibitions on our famous Flint Wal or new white walls. These can be Art of any medium, either 2D or 3D, or photography. The wall can booked at very reasonable cost.
Interesting photos on display and some lovely cards for sale. A good cafe around the corner and another art/gift shop all make Thornham Walks well worth a visit

I have been visiting Emma Jane’s workshops for the last year - usually every few months, with my 2 daughters (age 9 and 14) and we absolutely love them. Emma is fantastic at giving you as much help as you need/would like - recommending different methods and helping you make anything you fancy making. I can satisfy a slight addiction to making tiles while my girls love making anything that has taken their fancy that week! We keep returning as it’s a blissful few hours of creativity and mindfulness. Highly highly recommend.

NHRM & Palace House Estate is a 5-acre site in the heart of Newmarket. It comprises three complementary attractions; National Horseracing Museum in the Trainer’s House and King’s Yard Galleries, Packard Galleries of British Sporting Art in Palace House, and a chance to meet former racehorses in the flagship home of Retraining of Racehorses. We have a fabulous restaurant and gift shop onsite and visits can take from 3 hours to a full day, and sometimes even more…!
For a family who knows nothing about horses or racing we had a great day out. Very pleasant and helpful staff, extremely knowledgeable - our turn on the simulator was great fun. Nice to be able to combine inside and outside elements. The cakes from the little coffee shop were amazing !!! We live locally so the free annual pass will be very handy when it arrives.

Well worth a visit when you are next in Ipswich. There's an information room upstairs, in a strange room with homaphradites depicted on the wall paintings.
