What to do and see in Stuttgart, Baden-Wurttemberg: The Best Food & Drink

February 1, 2022 Velvet Mowry

Surrounded by one of Germany's largest wine-growing regions, Stuttgart beckons cultural junkies with its acclaimed ballet, opera and philharmonic, while auto fans get revved up over the Mercedes Benz Museum. There's more green space than urban sprawl in the festival-friendly city, home to Europe's largest zoo and botanic garden combo, the Wilhelma. The WŸrttembergisches Landesmuseum, in one of the city's oldest structures, traces area history from the Stone Age. Buses or subway provide handy transport.

Erlebnistouren fur die schwabischen Highlights

For more than 3 years I work in Stuttgart :) In this colorful time I was able to record a variety of perspectives, interesting places and local background stories of the city. I am from Hanover and studied for several years at a university of the state capital. So I know both ways of seeing this city - as a local and a non-native. All this in connection with a wonderful adventure tour I would like to pass on now.

Alfred Gehrlach

My name is Alfred and I was born in 1960 in Stuttgart - so I am an original! Already as a teenager, I became acquainted with the grape harvest and the cellar economy at a friendly winery - and I have kept this passion throughout my life. As a state-certified wine experience guide (LVWO) I would like to bring you closer to my homeland and inspire you with the wines of our great winemakers,
