All tours also include a visit to The Lily Pad, our gift shop.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit Racine Wisconsin, you should, because that’s where the SC Johnson campus is located. And be certain to schedule a tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Administration Building there; it is definitely a must-see experience.
Perhaps the most memorable features are the "dendriform" – as Wright called them – (tree-shaped) columns that stretch from floor to ceiling throughout the building. The columns, only nine inches in diameter at the base, rise some twenty-one feet to a top whose diameter is more than eighteen feet at the ceiling. Expected to hold a minimum of twelve tons of roof weight, Wright had one tested and it proved to hold in excess of sixty tons... without failing.
There’s also the 43 miles worth of Pyrex glass tubing Wright used to illuminate the office work space. There is more to see and hear about the building, as well as additional tours of the Research Tower and other buildings there.

Nice and peaceful area. Lovely walk and you can see the lighthouse and get some nice pictures.
Great to visit the lighthouse especially if you are also visiting Wingspread, the residence of the Johnsons. Free tours are conducted of the area by the Johnson Foundation but these tours have to be booked in advance online.

After decades of wanting to jump, I bid on a certificate at an auction and won it and realized I was actually going to make this happen. I'm a 50/50 risk-averse / adventure-loving personality, so there were lots of reasons to go, lots of reasons to avoid it. SkyDive Midwest makes it easy. Sure, you're going to have some nerves, you'll pause at signing the waiver, you'll wonder if you should spend $120 to upgrade to the video/photo package. JUST DO IT! I went today on one of the last beautiful days of the season and it's indescribable. Exhilarating, intense, terrifying, filled with wonder, exciting, all kinds of emotions. But if you're wavering, just do it. They're not kidding when they say to remove anything of value - I even lost my hair-ties during freefall! Go as early as possible before more and more people start flooding in midday. The guys and gals onsite are professional and dedicated and make the day fun and safe. My instructor was confident. Everyone checks you over multiple times, you can ask questions, and even though the event itself "goes fast", it's totally worth it! Plan on at least a half day, longer on weekends, and add time if you're going to get the video - it takes about 45 minutes for them to edit it and pull it together for you!

It's on two floors. Second floor more changing art gallery exhibit. Has gift shop, clean bathrooms. A lot larger than what is held in there. In other words lots of unused space. Go upstairs and see totem pole by huge window that overlooks lake. When u go to bathroom go straight back and to right to see minerals in glass case. Very interesting and lots to learn and read.
