Stratford-upon-Avon is steeped in the history of its most famous resident, William Shakespeare. This Warwickshire country town contains the home where Shakespeare was born, the cottage where Anne Hathaway resided before their marriage and the church where the couple is buried. Need a break from the Bard? The town also boasts Europe's largest butterfly farm.

Genuinely the best cup of tea we had when staying in Stratford - and we went to a number of more expensive places. We loved this tea room and found some wonderful books to buy too. Don't miss this lovely experience if you're in Stratford.

My husband and I passed the Barn on our way to Stratford-Upon-Avon and decided to pop in. Wow what an amazing Antiques and Collectibles centre, so much to see, all under one roof. Everything was well priced and we felt very safe walking around. Hand sanitiser was available to use and everyone was wearing masks, the pay desk had big clear screens up. The staff were friendly, informative and helpful, best antique centre we have visited. Will return when in area again - thank you to the staff

Our last visit to Bonds was prior to the lockdown. We went today and the one way system immediately made us feel safe. It was great to see some new displays plus a wide variety of antiques and unusual items. We ended up in the cafe where the staff, as always, were full of smiles. The coffee was truly excellent as was the fruit tartlet , scones etc. Even our little dog enjoys visiting Bonds and it is great to see it up and running and looking better than ever. Highly recommended!
