We are a classic 2 screen drive-in theatre, celebrating 60 years of movie memories "Under the Stars". We are the only drive-in theatre still operating in the Northern Va/DC/MD metro area. We offer classic car speakers, a playground for children, special events through out the season. Movies projected in High Definition Digital, stereo 5.1 surround sound if you use a car radio. Full service concession stand, offering hot meals to standard theater snacks. Double Feature movies of current or new movies are our standard offering, but we do triple and dusk to dawn shows as well. We are PET FRIENDLY-- so bring your dog(s) to the movies!
We took our Grandchildren to their first outdoor movie. The place is definitely family friendly. No alcohol is allowed. We bought food from their snack bar and the price was good and the food was good. You can use either the old time speakers to hang in the car or tune into FM radio. We opted to bring chairs and sit out for the show. Bring blankets as it does cool off at night but it is still a great experience. Highly recommended.

We've been coming here for more than 10 years and love the wines, location, and people. The owner, Krista, is from Germany, so her wines have German influences - Riesling, Oktoberfest, applewine, etc. We finally joined the wine club last year since we come here anyway at least 1-2 times a year it made sense.

The museum is not very big, but filled with lots of stuff - from World War I & II to Civil Wars, from sewing machines to trains, from quilt to uniforms, to name a few. There are books, pictures, flyers, and the actual antiques, it went on and on. There is also a very impressive model train, which from the video looks like the real one going through town. It supposed to be on display and running on every Saturday during the season. Since we were here on a Monday, they give us coupons so that we can come back at a later time to see it.

Retail garden center featuring the unusual in plants and products. Professional landscape and garden design center. We grow our own naturally. Come see the best small garden center in the Shenandoah Valley.
This is a nice garden center, but their hanging baskets are very expensive. They have a lot of perennials and annuals that you might not find at the other centers but again, I found them to be overpriced for the location and the size of the plants. They have a shop that has some garden decorations, fairy garden items etc..

Schuster and Steven were our tour guides. We were impressed by their professionalism, their attention to detail (important when safety issues are concerned!) and their senses of humor. They made our time together lots of fun.
This business is a first-class operation all the way from the people who take reservations, to the people who check you in to the tour guide staff. We loved it!

Caves in the Shenandoah Valley that feature anthodites, rare rock formations.
As others have pointed out, these are not the largest nor the most spectacular caves, even in this area. However, the management has taken what they have and presented it to the visitor to maximize the experience. Colored lighting makes otherwise ordinary formations interesting. They are guilty of overhype, but still a fun experience for the whole family. The guides I've experienced, and my son on a separate visit, are friendly and knowledgeable. The mirror maze is, as expected, more fun for the little ones, but well done.

This park was absolutely stunning. Sites were extremely large, very private, level and lots of gravel to park. Fire pit and two poles to hang a lantern or a clothesline. The camp host sold firewood.
Trees between each site made it seem like you were all alone in the campground. Some sites backed up to a great wall and seemed to have even more room to camp. The bath house was clean as well as the laundry area. The price of the laundry was only 75 cents per load, quite a bargain. Showers were huge and separate from the restrooms. A great visitor center/gift shop with staff that were helpful and informative. A boat launch was near the parking area. We swam in the river and watched tubers meandering downstream. There is a tubing rental company and a zipline right in the park. Lots of walking and horse riding trails. Campground is located close to the river. An array of different size cabins to rent. My only negative was the ticks.....they were everywhere. I checked the dogs and myself constantly. A great place to stay and enjoy the great outdoors. A short drive to Skyline Drive.

Valerie Hill Vineyard & Winery is a boutique winery located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Our award winning wines can be enjoyed daily inside our circa 1807 brick manor house.
Visiting Valerie Hill was like visiting with old friends. My server was very friendly and I had a nice time talking with him. They had four whites, a rose and two reds to try. The owner was there chatting with someone he knew and mentioned Port which got me excited. He was excited that I was excited and opened a bottle without realizing there was already one open. The Port was fantastic and I happily left with a bottle.

Cedar creek and Belle grove is one of the more strange national parks sites I've visited. The actual visitor center is located in what looks like a strip mall in the rural town of Middletown Virginia, a few miles north of the actual battlefield sites. There is a ranger or volunteer on site to answer questions and give directions on how to get to the actual site. The battlefield is a very interesting thing to see. kind of small, but still interesting. Easy on/off access to interstate 81 which is located just a few miles to the east.
