Stow-on-the-Wold is a small market town and civil parish in Gloucestershire, England. It is situated on top of an 800 ft (244 m) hill, at the convergence of a number of major roads through the Cotswolds, including the Fosse Way (A429). The town was founded as a planned market place by Norman lords to take advantage of trade on the converging roads. Fairs have been held by royal charter since 1330 and an annual horse fair is still held on the edge of the town.

A lovely gallery and extremely friendly staff who go out of their way to help you (a nice cuppa is always on offer). Their exhibitions are always stunning and a great chance to meet and greet the artists. I bought a lovely Lydia Corbett which now takes pride in the living room. Highly recommend this gallery for its service, art and staff.

Some outstanding images on display as well as the Nikon camera. It was great talking with Peter and gaining an insight into his work and thoughts giving you inspiration for your own photography.

I've been going to BTCC races at Donington Park for decades both as a fan and as a team member of the Support Package. Probably my favourite UK Circuit.

Loved visiting Tara's which is situated in the Market Square and is on three floors. All merchandise is very well spread out and presented and the range of stock is huge. I managed to find something that I had been looking for, and the shopkeeper luckily enough was the dealer of the product and gave me a very reasonable price for my piece. I would definitely visit again as I am sure I only saw the tip of the iceberg!!!! All Covid restrictions are in place and observed.

We loved our visit to Stow and with Bourton-on-the-Water, these were our highlights of the trip to the Cotswolds. Enough to do and some lovely independent shops (the charity shops are worth a look in!) and have a wander around. Picture opportunities abound with wonderfully old buildings everywhere.
