We also take you places off the beaten track, giving you the best opportunity to explore the island. Hugh, your guide, will share with you his local knowledge and also some of the local traditions whilst you sit back and relax. Although the seasons and scenery change throughout the year the beauty remains, we are here to meet you from your accommodation, from the ferry terminal or collection from the airport if it’s a flying visit. Our converted inshore fishing boat, MV Monadhliath, is ready and waiting to take you out into the Minch and beyond to see a myriad of sea life and to view the remarkable sea scape of the Outer Hebrides on one of our fantastic wildlife cruises or day trips. With fully experienced and knowledgeable crew, your trip will go in search of whales, dolphins, seals, otters and other marine life. You may also encounter golden eagles, sea eagles and puffins. We also offer a choice of activity cruises where you can sea kayak, snorkel, hike and photograph led by our expert guiding partners. You will still see all the wildlife too - double bonus! In 2020 we will depart at different times of the year from Mallaig, Ullapool and our home in Stornoway so please check our calendar on the website or give us a call.
