We went for a friends 60th birthday party. We had the bar area inside the factory to ourselves, chose our own music, drank plenty of fantastic beer - proper old fashioned real ale each one of their beers very distinctive and top quality- try them all! and had pie and peas and some "lobby". I met the boss who was just great, and so engaging about the business, and the staff were really accommodating and just great people, and really helped make it a great night. Thanks Brad! Regards, Andy

The Borehole is a brewery tap for the Lymestone Brewery and is based on the same site. It has never been a pub before so this is an exciting refurbishment. The pub will serve a range of Lymestone cask ales and bottled beers as well as other drinks from local and distant suppliers. A log burning stove provides a central focal point
Dropped in early afternoon after a birthday celebration elsewhere. It's the Lymestone Brewery tap and they seem to be doing something right as the place was full. It's dog friendly, the beer and cider is very well kept and you get a tunnocks caramel wafer or teacake if you have coffee or tea; they also do cakes! The gents toilets have novelty urinals and worth a visit in their own right.

I always walk my dog here being from Stone. But this place has some lovely scenery, picnic benches dotted about and very friendly people. I've never met a miserable person up here. My dog loves the river ???????? and in summer so do I ????

As the last remaining true free house in Stone, The Swan Inn is a shining beacon for real ale lovers across the nation, many of whom book a week’s holiday in July to fully enjoy our annual Beer Festival. The Swan Inn Stone supports local and national live music & entertainment. Take a look in the Gig Guide to find out what’s on. It’s not all ‘covers’ bands, we have a large selection of original artists. Look out for some classic and heavy rock on Thursdays Rock Night. Winners of the Heart of Staffordshire branch CAMRA urban pub of the year 2015 and back in 2010 and again in 2003 The Swan Inn Stone is renowned for its cask ale excellence. With over 600 breweries having been represented on the pumps in the past 15 years.

We have visited Wetherspoons in Stone on a regular basis over the last few months and cann't speak highly enough about them. We only usually have an afternoon coffee and the staff have been brilliant, nothing has been too much trouble for them. The establishment has done everything possible to make it as safe as possible in what are very difficult times.
