I had my first lesson here after not riding for 14 years due to a back injury. I used to compete at a professional level, and sadly I hurt myself while showjumping. I explained when booking that I wasn’t a novice, but I was particularly out of shape, and practise. I was greeted by a friendly face at reception who told me who I would be riding, and who would be my instructor. My instructor was excellent, we started with some basics and she worked me up to more difficult activities, allowing me to find my current level. Towards the end of the lesson everything finally clicked back into place, and my instructor was as excited as I was! A great lesson, and I will definitely be returning, a wonderful feeling to be back in the saddle, and so great to have been assisted by an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher.

Cheshire's finest parkland golf course offering 18 individually challenging holes. From possibly the toughest opening Par 4 in Cheshire to our Signature hole, the Par 3 8th hole which has seen many Open Qualifying scorecards ruined.
Played Stockport Golf Club with our society and could not have enjoyed it more. A fantastic course with some real challenges. Some beautiful holes with undulating fairways making it really picturesque. Greens were fantastic. Met some members around the course who were all friendly and welcoming. All the lads said how much they enjoyed it and will be looking to book next year as well.

Played here this morning for the first time 18/06/20, from driving into the grounds to leaving our overall experience was brilliant! The Staff are extremely friendly and polite. The course is well maintained with good drainage. I hired a buggy which was simple and easy. The course is challenging but also extremely enjoyable and fun which could be enjoyed by all levels. The course offers a lot of variations and obstacles to keep the round exciting. I would certainly recommend playing here without hesitation whatever your level maybe.
