Excellent remote walking tour of the old city of Tbilisi with Bacho via internet. The technology worked well and Bacho has perfect English. Bacho is a friendly and very well informed guide. It was wonderful to get a taste of this beautiful and interesting looking city in the only way possible in current circumstances. Georgia is now very high on my list of countries to visit when circumstances allow and I will not hesitate to contact Bacho and Georgian holidays to help plan my trip. Highly recommended. Many thanks. Mike Davey England

What an amazing tour. My husband and I met at their office and we were welcomed by the team and offered a glass of famous Georgian wine. Our 'Get your Guide' guide, Tico was very knowledgeable and friendly. Her English was exceptional and she explained all the history of the sights we visited. There was time to stop for photo's and take in the various views of the city. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves finding out local history and want to know more about the city. It was a great introduction to Tblisi and I would take it at the start of your trip. We met some lovely people from around the worl in our small group. Our trip finished at a craft wine bar/shop and we learnt about why wine is important to Geogians and got to taste many too. It was a pleasure to listen to it explained so passionately. Dress for the weather and wear comfy shoes!

Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia Tour 12 days Discover three countries Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan- in just one tour. The soaring Caucasus Mountains separate Europe from Asia, and the South Caucasus countries are on that borderline. Inhabitants of Azerbaijan burned crude oil in their lamps before anyone knew what it was. Beautiful, rocky Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity as its official religion. And Georgia, acclaimed for its fabulous food and drink, claims to be the first area to cultivate the wine grape. These countries are distinguished by their distinct histories, traditions, cultures and natural surroundings

Firstly credit where it’s due - value for money on our tour of the Southern Caucuses was pretty good as it was half board. The downside of that was that we never got to choose any of our own food and, although there was a variety of dishes served, it’s not the same as having a free choice. Secondly, the tour started each morning right after breakfast, went on all day and finished by going straight to dinner in the evening. This meant no free time at all which isn’t good when you’re visiting foreign countries. Finally, all of our tour group wanted to visit a bazaar one day, rather than yet another church. However, we were told that we weren’t allowed to. We didn’t appreciate being treated like children since all the group were between late 30s and late 70s.

Our route goes alongside the Great Caucasus Mountain Range toward the only open Georgia - Russia border that’s why it’s called as a great military road. Different sources describe the Georgian Military Road as 'one of the most beautiful mountain roads in the world', This region in Georgia is popular with spectacular views and high-altitude mountains. Snow covers the area until the early spring.
Inclusions: Private transportation, Lunch, Bottled water

Had an amazing time. The lunch (burp), the family (best host), the homemade wine (slurp) all thanks to our amazing guide Giga. The host were super kind and fun. The food was so tasty, we couldn’t stop eating. Our guide gave us the best experience for wine tasting.
