The most suburban of the five boroughs, Staten Island is often neglected as a tourist destination. Take a ride from Manhattan on the Staten Island Ferry and get some of the best views of New York City for free, then stick around and see what Staten Island has to offer. Check out the Himalayan monastery-style Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art, or visit Historic Richmond Town for a recreation of colonial New York. The beautiful Hamilton Park neighborhood was the setting for "The Godfather."

A fun place with unusual gifts, Staten Island souvenirs, and quirky items besides comic books. A friendly face in the neighborhood, shop owner Joy runs the show. Check it out the next time you're in St. George, a short walk from the ferry.

Went for the first time in years with my friend, really beautiful mall, very clean and a lot of businesses, the staff in the stores were so nice and helpful, unlike the staff at Kings Plaza in Brooklyn, they seem to care about their customers and a lot of variety of stores, highly recommend it.

WELCOME TO NEW YORK’S ONLY OUTLET SHOPPING DESTINATION Empire Outlets is New York City’s premier outdoor shopping and dining center. With its picture-perfect views of lower Manhattan, a lush landscaped plaza with tranquil fountains, and access to some of the best deals, Empire Outlets is unlike any other shopping destination in the city. We’re just steps from the Staten Island Ferry, which means you’re just steps away from pure joy.
The shops here are huge and contain most of what you'll be looking for. Levi jeans were $50 each or 2 pairs for $80.I also got a pair of cargo trousers for $12! Well worth a visit as it is only a couple of minutes from the ferry terminal.
