São Paulo (Portuguese pronunciation: [sɐ̃w ˈpawlu] ( listen)) is one of the 26 states of the Federative Republic of Brazil and is named after Saint Paul of Tarsus. As the richest Brazilian state and a major industrial complex, often dubbed the "locomotive of Brazil", the state is responsible for 33.9% of the Brazilian GDP. São Paulo also has the second highest Human Development Index (HDI) and GDP per capita, the fourth lowest infant mortality rate and the third lowest rate of illiteracy among the federative units of Brazil. São Paulo alone is richer than Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia combined. If São Paulo were an independent country, its nominal GDP would be ranked among the top 20 in the world (2010 estimate). The economy of São Paulo State is the most developed in Brazil.

My kids and I love this place, we go there every time we visit São Paulo, we have been there five times so far and we will be back for sure. The park has a perfect water temperature and plenty of different pools, rides and attractions. It is very clean comparable with USA water parks. I totally recommend this park. Hint: Like any park, avoid the vacation months (July, December and January) to avoid the crowd.

We went at 9am and we were the only ones there. Going early is awesome because it is beautiful and empty. The beach is really long and has a natural feel to is because there aren't any restaurants or houses on the beach, just trees and sand. Great for surfing

The view of the football field is great, even in the "worst" chairs, which by the way, are very comfortable and there are always salesperson with food, drinks and ice cream. I really think it's a amazing think to do, maybe for see games or only visit the place. I recommend you go to a Palmeiras Stadium Tour for new informations about the club.

Morro Pelado

The landscape is privileged from the top of the mountain, at 1,400 meters of altitude, on the border between Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo. The 360-degree view uncovers the entire city as well as nearby Mount Zion. A jumping platform draws the free-flying class on clear sky days. The hill is 4km from the center and access is by steep dirt road.
