São Paulo (Portuguese pronunciation: [sɐ̃w ˈpawlu] ( listen)) is one of the 26 states of the Federative Republic of Brazil and is named after Saint Paul of Tarsus. As the richest Brazilian state and a major industrial complex, often dubbed the "locomotive of Brazil", the state is responsible for 33.9% of the Brazilian GDP. São Paulo also has the second highest Human Development Index (HDI) and GDP per capita, the fourth lowest infant mortality rate and the third lowest rate of illiteracy among the federative units of Brazil. São Paulo alone is richer than Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia combined. If São Paulo were an independent country, its nominal GDP would be ranked among the top 20 in the world (2010 estimate). The economy of São Paulo State is the most developed in Brazil.

Kinke is a craft brewery that has friendship in essence. And it's not any friendship, is one that already lasts 30 years. Our name comes from Quinque, which is five in Latin. AND why five? Because we are five friends passionate about making beer and sharing good moments. Here at Kinke, friend is always in the plural.

I can entertain night clubbers or nature lovers, chat painting or politics, show you the highlights on foot or by bike. I'll share Sao Paulo's journey from Jesuit mission to coffee boomtown to industrial powerhouse (and even hold forth on the finer points of my country's economic policy). Sao Paulo’s skyline is catnip for architecture enthusiasts, and Brazilian modernism happens to be my forte. Whether you're looking for an architectural overview of the 20th century

Occupying the historic headquarters of Brazil's largest bank, the CCBB features an ever-changing program of art exhibitions, photography, theater, documentaries and feature films, and other engaging cultural manifestations. The building itself is a Baroque jewel, situated in the old financial district of São Paulo, and avant-garde events, such as a recent blaxploitation film retrospective, keep the CCBB on every hip Paulistano's cultural agenda.
This place is nice for its arquitecture, exibitions, music, theatre and a whole range of cultural initiatives. Also, there is a nice and cozy coffee shop with specialty coffee and sweets. It is beautiful outside and inside and it is worth a visit.

This indoor restaurant/outside lounge is located on the top floor of Hotel Unique. I went for opening at 6:00pm to get a view of Sao Paulo as the sunset. I was not disappointed. Sao Paulo is a very big place but I doubt there can be many better views than this!!! The cocktails I had were fantastic and as a bonus the staff spoke English. If you like swanky rooftop cocktail lounges with excellent views you will not be disappointed if you come here!!!
