The colossal power of these thundering falls, viewable from both Argentina and Brazil, and accessible from Paraguay, is a mesmerizing sight: 275 separate falls in a U-shaped formation pound the water below in raging cascades with a deafening intensity.
Iguazu Falls was simply stunning, beyond description. We saw the Falls from both the Argentinean side, up close and personal with the deafening roar of the water in our ears, and from the Brazilian side, from lofty platforms with panoramic views above the Falls. It was magnificent and will be forever memorable. We had one gray cloudy day on the Argentinean side that made for dramatic moody photos, and a cool but bright sunny day on the Brazilian side where brilliant rainbows were everywhere on the water. This is well worth a visit. Our guide Carlos with G Adventures was awesome! He guided us to the best viewpoints on both sides, gave us ample time to absorb the beauty around us, and filled us in on the layout of the Falls, geology and history of the area, etc. Highly recommended!

I visited the place, expecting to see the Brazilian border marker, and see the other two border markers of Argentina and Paraguay, as that is the name of the small park, and probably Brazil's most famous triple land border. However, I was more than happy to realise, that what was once just a viewing point, is now a privately run park. Despite having to pay for the entrance, it was worth the fee: well kept, it not only is lit, organized and does have a very good vantage point to see the border markers of the other two countries, but also enlightens the visitors on a little of the history of when Foz de Iguaçu was discovered/established. The highlight is a dance-presentation of typical dances of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. All performed very well, and great to watch. Maybe it is a little tedious for children, but definitely interesting and also educative! Loved it!

We chose the neighborhood due to the proximity to the park, so we could enjoy a feeling of having somewhere to exercise outdoors. Couldn’t be happier.

The Parque das Aves is an essential tour for visitors of Foz do Iguassu, located near the Cataratas do Iguassu, beside the Iguassu National Park. In the Parque das Aves you will experience a direct contact with more than 1320 birds from about 143 different species. There are 16.5 hectares of lush Atlantic Rainforest maintained to provide the best habitat for our animals. This is a tour like no other. It is an unique and unforgettable experience in which you will find amazing birds. Enter our immersion aviaries to feel the beat of wings from vibrant macaws and look into the eyes of a toucan. There is plenty to feel and enjoy - beauty is everywhere and that is what motivates us every day to work for the preservation of our fauna and flora. We take into our care birds that are no longer in condition to continue living in nature and keep them in an environment where they can live happily. You are an essential part of this project. All you need to do to help preserve it is to enter into the experience with all your senses.
Early into the bird park before the crowds. What a wonderful vision Dennis and Anna Croukamp had to set up this amazing park in the forest for rescued birds. As I am a bird lover, I was delighted to see such a large variety of birds from flamingos to numerous parrots, eagles, king vulture which I had never seen before, and of course the many macaws to the cheeky Toucans. One of my favourites was the red fan parrot, so colourful. It was such a delightful experience to wander through this bird park to see the birds up close. Take your time wandering through the park, you will enjoy it all the more.

MON has been one of my favorite Curitiba stables for over a decade now and is never skip it during each trip to the city. The museum grounds are absolutely gorgeous, worth exploring and sitting down for the coffee. The art collections always change and are well worth the visit.
