The owner of our pousada arranged it with a local fisherman (not one of the big companies) who took us out. The most amazing thing was seeing manatees in the wild (3! Including a mum and her cub! What are the chances!!) before and when we got back from the trip right there in front of the beach!! My kids loved the trip and snorkelled in the clear waters. We saw loads of fish and it is just beautiful. Well worth the trip! It was about 50 reais (£10) a person. Not bad!! If you have the chance, go. You never know, you may see a manatee too!!
