Loved this very big selection of art and pottery , soaps, jewelry, etc. by Virginians. I could easily spend a lot of $$$ here. Had to restrain myself. Definitely saving up for another visit. Had a lovely chat with the lady who works here. Definitely worth a visit if you are a pottery addict or just need to purchase a lovely gift.

This small, family-run winery was the first stop for us on a tour of small wineries. I had talked to Doreen (sp?) on the phone to reserve a tasting for 8 members of our wine group. She and Bob run this great little business named after their 3 daughters. Such nice people and they produce such good wines. Cindy did a great job conducting the tasting. The information about wine making and this area of Virginia was special to us. The tasting fee and the cost of the wines was noticeably lower than the bigger wineries in Northern Virginia. That was refreshing! A great experience and a beautiful location.

The pottery here is absolutely beautiful! It is also reasonably priced making it accessible for people with a variety of budgets. As a teacher, it warms my heart to see that apprentice work is available for purchase in the shop alongside works by the master potters. We hope to be back on subsequent visits to Shenandoah!
