There are 32 islands and cays that make up St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Nine are inhabited, including the mainland St. Vincent and the Grenadines islands: Young Island, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Union Island, Mayreau, Petit St Vincent and Palm Island. The stunning Tobago Cays National Marine Park is also located within SVG. This multi-island Caribbean nation offers a combination of rainforest eco-adventures, scuba diving, classic Caribbean powder-white sand beaches, luxury accommodation and yachting or sailing adventures.

A collection of several uninhabited islands in the southern section of the Grenadines that offer some of the best beaches for swimming, tanning and snorkeling in the Caribbean.
The water, reefs and aquatic life here are all outstanding. There must’ve been 70 yachts moored but everyone was polite, quiet and respectful. Even though the reef breaks the waves, it is windy here so keep that in mind if you’re bareboating. Moorings in the cut are quite close together. There is current too so I can see how it could be intimidating for a beginner snorkeler or someone who is not a confident swimmer. Saw numerous rays, turtles and many beautiful fish. There are 2 dingy moorings for those who wish to dinghy out to the reef. We’ve snorkeled throughout the Caribbean and I’d consider this to be in the top 3. Sandy Island off Carriacou, Petit Nevis and Indians in the BVI were similarly exceptional.

Clem and Marie picked us up from Carriacou, got all our papers in order and took us to Union Island. The next morning we Took a planned day trip. We began with a quick stop at salt whistle bay, followed by a snorkel with turtles in Tobago Cays marine park. From there we visited Petit Tajac ( this island had a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean filmed on it). On the way back we stopped to snorkel the reef which was filled with the tropical fish of every Color and Size. After working up an appetite, we were ready for barbecue, and this was a feast we could not believe! The lobster and Grenadian cuisine was perfect! ( the flavors and the spices are just, WOW!!)Our server, Miss Bethel, was most kind and delightful. Clem KNOWS his stuff, where to go, and how to give you an Experience you will never forget. He makes you comfortable and waits patiently at every stop to give you time to explore. We had a wonderful time thanks to Their impeccable service, and laid back attitude. Perfect “10”!!!!

I booked with Wayne & Shakeira when I had some time to spare before my ferry to Bequia. Very glad I took this opportunity to have them show me some of the beautiful sites of St Vincent. I loved it so much, I booked them again on my return trip to St Vincent to go to the Owia Salt Pond. Highly recommend Wayne & Shakeira! They are dedicated, professional, and experienced tour guides.

A Mustique beach that is popular with tourists seeking good swimming and snorkeling.
Stunning white sandy beach on atlantic side so some good waves for my child of a husband to body surf in. You can reserve a picnic table (your villa do this for you) and either take your own picnic or the villa staff will deliver it. There are only about 5 tables on whole beach so very quite. Most days we went we only saw a couple of people.

The site of a beach that is popular with Bequia tourists.
Nice sand, enough trees along the shore for shade. This seems to be a favorite beach for the locals. Snorkeling is OK, the water is clear, but there are no reefs, so not a lot of diversity in the sea life.

The Botanical Gardens are one of the most important and popular sites in St Vincent. They are the oldest botanical gardens in the Western Hemisphere (established in 1765) and are also an important conservation site (particularly for the St Vincent parrot). The Botanical Gardens are in Kingstown, a short journey from the town centre.
Not the biggest gardens in the world, but well worth a visit. Recommend the guided tour, our guide, Cornelius was excellent. Lots to see from all around the world.
