The Wall of Art is an outdoor museum that was created by French Artists after Hurricane Irma to show the resilience of the people of Saint-Martin to rebuild their beautiful island. It is a colorful wall full of love, passion and inspiration of over 15 artists. It is a km long....
I’ve been coming to St Martin for years (before and after hurricane Irma) and everything about this island is magic. From the beaches to its people, a more beautiful island can’t be found! The Wall of Art was built partially to show the people’s strength and endurance after the tragedy of Irma but also to give locals and visitors a sense of hope and to feel as though you are truly part of this magical place. The Homage Hotel (formally Mercure) and its staff helped to organize this amazing art installation and it’s such a lovely part of the experience as you travel from one end of the island to the other. It’s an incredible piece of art but more importantly it symbolizes the island mentally of community and support! A must see!!!!

Beautiful beach - blue water and white sand. What you expect a Caribbean beach to look like! Very little seaweed. As the beach drops off pretty rapidly so you need to be careful about getting in and out of the water and watch the wave sets carefully.
