This is a St Albert hidden gem.The total walk extends for several miles on both sides of the Sturgeon River, though most days I (and my wife) walk the south side for half a mile, have a coffee, and walk back home. Total activity 45 min. The trail is well-used by joggers, cyclists, and other strollers. It is kept clear of snow in winter by superb maintenance crews and borders for the most part a natural riparian vista: geese, ducks, the occasional heron (yesterday), muskrats and beavers abound!

A great golf course and facility (great food and drink in the lounge) Greens and fairways in great shape all year ... challenging course ... beautiful setting in the Sturgeon Valley ... very well maintained ... Golfed with friends all summer long ... we will be back again in 2020
