St Albans /sənt ˈɔːlbənz/, /seɪn ... / is a city in Hertfordshire, England, and the major urban area in the City and District of St Albans. It lies east of Hemel Hempstead and west of Hatfield, about 20 miles (32 km) north-northwest of central London, 8 miles (13 km) southwest of Welwyn Garden City and 11 miles (18 km) south-southeast of Luton. Enjoyed our experience with 5 year old granddaughter. Helpful staff who explained how everything works. Doesn’t have to be too expensive if you choose something smaller to paint. Recommended.

It is so sad to lose this characterful vintage emporium that was a landmark in St Albans. There is nothing like it in that area and it will be missed by avid collectors and bargain hunters.

Christopher Place is a small shopping area in the heart of St Albans City Centre. There are some nice shops to check out and also when I visited there was a Wagamama and Burger place that were both well used. There is also a small seating area where you could sit and relax if you need a break from your retail therapy.
