DeZion Gallery’s mission is to present the works of local artists who are inspired by the southwest and Zion in particular. We represent both emerging artists who have not yet acquired mainstream attention, as well as established artists of national and international renown. Our desire is to give southwestern Utah artists a venue to display their unique creations through their individual craft.DeZion Gallery seeks to make art accessible to all facets of society, from the general public to the serious collectors and patrons. We encourage dialog between artist and art collector, in order to improve everyone’s insight into the creative process. We strive to create a place where people from all walks of life can experience and discover the majesty of Zion and southwest Utah.
I had walked into three galleries filled with typical imported junk before spotting DeZion and thought it might be too spendy to find a pair of earrings as my souvenir of Color Country. Wrong! I asked Jason if there were any local artists and he showed me a beautiful pair of mixed metal earrings with amber stones. LOVE THESE! All my girlfriends were impressed by the quality for the price.

This is a very nice visitor center, located just up form the entrance to Zions. Mostly a book store with some clothes, hats etc. Plan and trips here and get plenty of information for everything. Lots of knowledge from these people. We drove around for 15 minutes and still did not find a parking place , however we did park in the 15 min only zone just to be able to walk through. Spring is a very busy time to go, temps are not so hot yet. Wow! So many people everywhere. Literally we did not see a parking spot most of the way up the mountain. Shuttles are available , I think the loop is about 90 minutes with stops along the way to pick up and drop off. Some special rules apply to be able to drive through the tunnels. You can get info on the radio as you get closer. Seems the key for Zions is to plan well ahead for everything!

We purchased a Lyman Worthington piece of wind art at the gallery. Yelena was so patient about going into specific features of each piece. She was knowledgeable and patient, as we were having a hard time choosing one of great selections. It was wonderful to know that they would mail it to us free of charge!! They are displayed beautifully outside!! The rest of the gallery is full of beautiful pottery, paintings, etc. I heard a woman say that she travels the world and loves coming to this beautiful gallery. She said she can always find something that she wants to take home!! It is worth the stop!!!
