The Spokane Valley mall is a very safe, Friendly, and well kept mall to go to in Spokane. I would recommend it for a larger variety of stores. The stores are also bigger in this mall and they carry more choices of clothing and games than at the other malls. A much safer spot for younger teens to go shopping. The area is very secure an there are a number of things to do.

I happened to be in town during restaurant week and tried this restaurant located downtown Spokane inside a renovated steam plant. The plant was built in 1916 and active until the mid 1980s before closing. Today it is a modern restaurant with great appeal. The hostess, Kaleah, provided a wonderful tour which included the history of the plant and the repurposed usage of the steam stacks and piping for decor and dining space. Now on to the food????. The food was very good. I had a price fixe meal with a salad, entree, and dessert for $33.00. The flavors were wonderful although my roasted chicken was a bit dry. The home made mashed potatoes were a slam dunk! I had a chocolate torte for dessert which was good. The cocktail menu offered a variety of options and I ordered the Huckleberry Mule which was absolutely phenomenal. There are a variety of entrees as well as pizzas and upscale bar food on the menu. Live music and a great crowd the night I dined. My waiter was awesome too! It’s definitely a great option for large groups as the restaurant has 3 floors and private rooms for special occasions and meetings. Definitely try it out if you happen to be in Spokane!

I generally stay downtown when I travel on business. Spokane has a wonderful downtown shopping mall that blends name brand stores including Nordstrom, Pottery Barn and Athleta, with a variety of dine in restaurants including Sushi, Mexican, Pizza , and modern American fare at Twigs. The AMC theater is attached. A cute flower and candy shop, a large toy store and a paint your own pottery studio offer great family activities and a sweet treat too. I recommend bringing the family on your next business trip.
