The largest city on the Adriatic Coast, seaside delight Split has been under Roman, Venetian, Austrian, French, Italian and Yugoslav control. There is an abundance of restaurants and wine cellars. Sites such as Diocletian's Palace and Mausoleum, the Grgur Ninski Statue and the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St. Domnius justify its position as a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site. The city's coves offer several lovely beaches, including central Bacvice. Ferries link Split to Dalmatian summer resorts.

Birthplace of Marcvs Marvlvs (Marko Marulić); Father of Croatian Literature. Shooting Scene of the famous series Game of Thrones. 15th Century Palace, in front of the City Museum in the Old Town (1 minute from Peristil Tower). The Croatian-Argentinean poet Tin Bojanic runs the place.
The drinks prices in Split were something of a shock to us as they are very expensive with the present exchange rate. We were therefore relieved to find that Marvlvs offered excellent wine at good prices. It was unlike any other bar that we visited during our stay in Croatia, with a unique history and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The jazz music made a nice change from the music heard elsewhere and the bar just seemed to exhibit discernment and good taste. The food options were a little limited however if you are not a cheese lover.

Good alternative music, the staff are friendly and they have the best beer selection. If you're looking for a well priced pub/bar, this is the place for you.

ShotGun is the first shooters bar in Croatia! We are a tiny bar located in Get, the most bohemian part of the Diocletian Palace in Split.
Extreamly funy interior, very original and cool. Great shots that the owners have invented themselves. A tiny place but we were dancing !! :-) Can only recomend !

Probably the biggest small bar in the world. Life is a journey. And it's not only the steps made, but the stops taken on that journey that knit our story. One should be careful when taking the next step. And wise when choosing the next stop. Look for the gem among the places. A special one. You will know it the moment you set your eyes on it.

Judino Drvo club proposes local DJ talents and internationally renowned underground electronic music legends, as well as reputable bands with accomplished live acts. Judino Drvo vision is to put emphasis into superb lineups rather than extravagant designs. Definitely a local club to go to if you want a break from everything you've experienced before and are craving an authentic underground feel.
