The permanent exhibition of the Museum of Alka meets the highest museum standards, both in terms of presentation and technology, and stands side by side with the finest museums in the Republic of Croatia. The museum display includes a wide variety of uniforms, equipment and weapons used by the alkars of Sinj, together with Alka statutes and rulebooks presented in modern digital form.
We were the group of 9 professional tourist guides , well traveled people with a lot of experience in tourism and we all agreed- it’s the Amazing museum, the reason to visit the town of Sinj! You can learn about “alka” and the entire area in an innovative, informative and in a funny way. The museum is one of the best we have ever seen! Amazing approach to the subject from every aspect! Highly recommend to all!! 5*!!!!

Dear visitor, we are pleased to announce that Froggyland is opening on 07/05/2021. We are looking forward to your visit.
Absolutely fantastic experience - went in the evening so had place to ourselves, was only a 20-30 minute trip but for the price was completely worth it. The most unique and enjoyment museum I have every been in, as well as learning informative information on the history of the stuffed frogs and their taxidermy! Completely recommend to all if you want a laugh and to learn something new

We visited this place for its restaurant, which is excellent but that’s for another review. De city of Malo Grablje is completely abandoned around 1960, apparently due to a disease that destroyed the olives / wine yards. The city is left as is and is slowly being taken apart my nature, so be careful if you decide to enter one of the houses. It’s a really beautiful place to walk around. We might go back for some of the hiking trails that start there. There is an hotel/apartment place build at the edge of the village, so for how long this place stays abandoned is the question.

The museum is located in the very pretty village of Skrip. We found the place by chance and were delighted we did. The curator was a lovely woman who was knowledgeable, clearly proud of her heritage to the island, spoke articulately in English and did so with a great ability to tell stories to both young and old. The museum is relatively small but has a number of items which reflect the Islands history. For 20Kuna entrance fee for adults this was a lovely place to stop off and spend an hour.
